Short and honest: this site doesn’t track you. No analytics, no ads, no tracking cookies, no accounts. We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising. Below is exactly what happens when you visit.
01Who runs this site
The site is run by the project RONIN · THE SHIFT. For any question about data, write to ronin@roninshift.net.
02What is stored in your browser
The site uses localStorage (and sessionStorage on the demo cabinet page) only to make the interface work. This stays on your device; we don’t receive it.

03Cookies
The site sets no cookies — neither its own nor third-party ones. Everything stored is listed above, and it’s strictly functional. No tracking, no ads.
If analytics is ever added, we’ll update this page first and add a banner where you decide whether you agree.
04Third-party resources
Fonts are hosted on our own server, so browsing the site makes no requests to third-party services: no CDNs, no analytics, no embedded videos or widgets. The video on the site is still a placeholder.
External links (for example, to helplines or the World Health Organization page) open only when you click them; that site’s own rules apply there.
One exception is the demo page /cabinet/: it’s a prototype and still loads fonts from Google Fonts. When you open it, your browser contacts Google’s servers, which see your IP address and browser details. We’ll move these fonts to our own server before the cabinet launches.
05Hosting
The site is hosted on Surge (surge.sh), a static hosting service. Like any web server, the host may process technical request data — IP address, time, the page requested, browser details — to operate and secure the service. We don’t use this data for analytics or profiling. The host sets no cookies.
06Email and newsletter
Right now the forms are a prototype: your address isn’t sent anywhere and is kept only in your browser (key shift_leads).
When email collection is connected, it will use double opt-in: you’ll only receive mail after you confirm your address. It will be used only for what you signed up for, and every email will have an unsubscribe link. We’ll name the mailing service on this page before launch.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep the conversation only as long as it’s needed.
07We don’t sell data
We don’t sell, rent or share your data for advertising. Ever.
08Your rights
At any time you can: find out what data we hold about you and get a copy; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to its processing; withdraw consent (for example, unsubscribe). You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Write to ronin@roninshift.net — we’ll reply within 30 days. Data that lives only in your browser you delete yourself, by clearing the site’s data.
09Children
The site isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
10Changes
If anything changes (for example, we connect a newsletter or analytics), we’ll update this page and the date at the top. We’ll give notice of significant changes in advance.
